Alldaythebirchesbendtohear
Theriver'sundertone;

Butdowntheirdreamtheredriftsnosound:
Thewindsmaysobandstir;

〔中译〕伊人寂寂而长眠兮，
任春与秋之代谢。
野花繁其弗赏兮，
亦何知冰深而雪下？
水潺湲兮，
长槐垂首而听之。
鸟声喧兮，
好音谁其应之？
风呜咽兮而怒飞兮，
陈死人兮安所知兮？
和平之神穆以慈兮，
长眠之人于斯永依兮。
